Shilo came from the first "Cristabo" litter bred and what a gift she has been to me.  Although I had hoped to keep a black spotted bitch from the litter, there just wasn't one as good as the beautiful Liver spotted Shilo who consistently caught my eye with her style and personality.  My grateful thanks to my mentor and wonderful friend "Val Beggs" of the top winning "Kalesha" kennels for making sure that as a novice, I didn't overlook my gut instinct in this respect.

From day 1, Shilo exceeded all my expectations in the show ring, having had multi RBIS's at All Breeds and Non Sporting/Utility Championship shows and multi Best in Group wins. Shilo consistently won age in Group awards and did  well in our Dalmatian Club Point score competition.  She achieved top Dalmatian Bitch and Runner-Up Dalmatian of the Year (NZ Dalmatian Club Point Score Competition) on more than one occasion.

Shilo has also gone on in the litter box to produce 5 Champion offspring from her 3 litters.  Amongst these, the top winning "Coco" (RBIS CH Cristabo Devilz Delite) - a Reserve Best In Show winner, and "Juno" (RBISS CH Cristabo StarAttraxion) - Reserve Best in Specialty Show.

Shilo left for the Rainbow Bridge in 2011, she was my soul mate and beloved companion and remains the benchmark on which all my successive litters are evaluated.
